Mission Partner

Ninth Star Foundation + Kovafin

Two independent organizations. One shared belief: that the people building and using software deserve platforms that respect them, stay transparent, and put power back in their hands.

What this partnership actually is

Ninth Star Foundation works on community investment and service programs that line up with how Kovafin thinks about building software. Private by default. Transparent where it counts. Respectful of the people using the product. Equitable in who gets to participate.

This partnership is about spreading that mission further than either of us could on our own. NSF reaches its community through its own network. Kovafin reaches its community through its own network. When both networks see the same message about what honest platforms look like, the idea moves faster than advertising ever could.

What this partnership is not

  • No money changes hands. NSF is not funding Kovafin. Kovafin is not funding NSF. No revenue share. No services billed. No in-kind exchange with declared value.
  • No shared operations. Each organization runs independently with its own governance, its own finances, and its own decision-making. Neither binds the other.
  • No implied endorsement beyond the mission. Saying both organizations share a belief in transparent, equitable platforms does not mean either endorses every decision the other makes.

Why we chose to say this out loud

Quiet partnerships are fine when two sides just want to collaborate. This is not that. The reason to be public about mission alignment is to make the expectation visible: if a platform claims to respect you, the reality of that claim should be auditable. If a nonprofit claims to serve a community, the reality of who benefits should be visible.

Both organizations answer to their communities independently. This page is the shared statement of the standard we hold ourselves to together.
