What we commit to, in writing
These are not aspirations. They are commitments. If we break them, hold us accountable.
To everyone who uses this platform
Candidates never pay
No premium tiers, no paid boosts, no hidden fees. Job seekers will always have full, free access to every feature on this platform. This is not a trial. It is permanent.
No company can buy visibility
Job rankings are based on behavior, not budget. Employers earn their position through responsiveness, transparency, and how they treat candidates. The algorithm is public. The data is auditable.
Every rating is public
Candidate reviews of employers are visible to everyone and cannot be deleted by the company being reviewed. Employers can respond publicly, but they cannot hide or suppress honest feedback.
Salary transparency is mandatory
Every job posted on Kovafin must include compensation information. No vague "competitive salary" placeholders. Candidates deserve to know what the job pays before they invest their time.
Blind screening by default
During the initial review phase, candidate identities are hidden from employers. Decisions are made on qualifications, not demographics. Identity is revealed only when the candidate advances.
Structured rejections required
Ghosting is tracked and penalized in the Equity Score. When an employer passes on a candidate, they must provide a reason. Candidates deserve to know why, and this platform enforces that.
How we are building this company
The structure of a company determines who it serves. We are choosing a structure that serves people first.
Path to Public Benefit Corporation
Kovafin is operated by Wyrdwint, LLC. We are committed to converting to a Public Benefit Corporation as revenue allows. A PBC legally binds the company to serve a public benefit alongside shareholder interests. For us, that benefit is equitable hiring.
Employee ownership on the horizon
We believe the people who build a platform should own a share of it. As Kovafin grows, we are committed to establishing an ownership structure that gives employees a meaningful stake in the company. The exact model will be determined as we scale, but the direction is set.
Open scoring standard
The algorithm that ranks employers is published under a Creative Commons license. Anyone can read it, audit it, and hold us accountable to it. Other platforms are welcome to adopt it. Transparency is not a feature. It is the foundation.
Privacy without compromise
We do not sell user data. We do not run behavioral ads. Analytics are self-hosted and privacy-first. Candidates can export or delete all their data at any time. These are not settings. They are guarantees.
Why this matters
Most hiring platforms are built to extract value. They charge candidates for visibility, sell employer data to third parties, and optimize for engagement over outcomes. The incentives are misaligned from day one.
We started Kovafin because we believe hiring can be better than this. Not incrementally better. Structurally better. A platform where the business model depends on treating people well, where accountability is built into the architecture, and where the people who build it and use it have a real stake in how it works.
This is not charity. This is a business. But it is a business built on the premise that doing right by people and building something sustainable are the same thing. Equitable futures are the only thing that can move the world forward for the better.
That is the promise. Not a marketing line. A commitment, written down, for anyone to hold us to.
