I got tired of watching people get jerked around by the hiring process. You apply to a job, hear nothing for three weeks, and when you finally get a response the salary is half what you expected. Or you never hear back at all. Everyone has been through it. I decided to stop complaining about it and build something better.
I come from finance and the military. Both taught me the same thing: people make better decisions when they have the full picture. Nobody should have to guess what a job pays or wonder whether they will ever hear back. That should be standard. It was not, so I made it the standard here.
Kovafin exists to level the playing field. Job seekers see the real salary, the full interview process, and honest feedback when they do not get the role. Employers get candidates who are informed, prepared, and actually want to be there. Both sides win when you remove the games.
I am not building this to flip it or cash out. Kovafin is on a path to becoming a Public Benefit Corporation with the mission locked in legally. The goal is employee ownership so the people building this platform have a real stake in it. Hiring affects everyone. The platform that fixes it should belong to everyone who makes it work.
Candidates should never have to pay to find work. Employers should be rewarded for doing the right thing. That is not idealism. That is just how it should have been all along.
