1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using Kovafin (“the Platform”), operated by Wyrdwint, LLC (“we,” “us,” or “our”), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you don’t agree with any part of these terms, you may not use the Platform.
2. Description of Service
Kovafin is a transparent job posting platform where employers disclose salary ranges, interview processes, team information, and hiring criteria upfront. Our mission is to make hiring honest and transparent for everyone involved.
Kovafin is not an employment agency, staffing firm, or recruiter. We provide a technology platform that connects employers and job seekers. We do not place, employ, or pay candidates. All hiring decisions are made solely by employers.
3. User Accounts
To use certain features, you must create an account. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to provide accurate and complete information when registering and to keep it up to date.
You must notify us immediately if you suspect unauthorized access to your account.
4. Employer Responsibilities
Employers using Kovafin commit to transparency and lawful hiring. This means:
- Providing truthful salary ranges that reflect actual compensation for the role.
- Accurately describing the interview process, including all steps, formats, and expected timelines.
- Sharing genuine team information and reporting structures.
- Keeping postings current and closing roles that are no longer available.
Intentionally misleading candidates with false information violates these terms and may result in account termination.
5. Equal Opportunity and Non-Discrimination
Employers must comply with all applicable federal, state, and local employment laws, including but not limited to Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA), the Age Discrimination in Employment Act (ADEA), and all Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) regulations.
Job postings may not discriminate on the basis of race, color, religion, sex (including pregnancy, sexual orientation, and gender identity), national origin, age, disability, genetic information, veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
Kovafin reserves the right to remove any posting and suspend any account that violates equal opportunity laws or the spirit of fair and equitable hiring.
6. Candidate Responsibilities
Candidates using Kovafin agree to:
- Providing accurate profile information, including qualifications and experience.
- Engaging respectfully with employers and other users on the platform.
- Applying to positions in good faith and responding to communications in a timely manner.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You may not use the Platform to:
- Post fake job listings or applications.
- Provide misleading information about compensation, roles, or qualifications.
- Post job listings that violate any applicable employment, anti-discrimination, or labor laws.
- Scrape, crawl, or harvest data from the Platform through automated means without prior written permission.
- Harass, threaten, or discriminate against other users.
- Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Platform or other user accounts.
- Use the Platform for any illegal purpose.
8. Referral and Affiliate Program
Kovafin may offer referral programs that reward users for introducing new employers to the Platform. Participation in any referral or affiliate program is subject to these additional terms:
- Referral rewards are paid only for legitimate, new employer sign-ups that result in a paid subscription.
- Self-referrals, fraudulent referrals, or referrals obtained through spam, misleading claims, or incentivized sign-ups are prohibited and will result in forfeiture of rewards and possible account termination.
- Kovafin reserves the right to modify reward amounts, pause, or discontinue the referral program at any time with notice to participants.
- Referral rewards are subject to applicable tax obligations. Recipients are responsible for reporting any earned rewards as income.
9. User Content and Section 230
Users are solely responsible for the content they post on Kovafin, including job postings, applications, profiles, reviews, messages, and any other user-generated content. Kovafin acts as a neutral platform and does not endorse, verify, or assume liability for user-generated content.
Pursuant to Section 230 of the Communications Decency Act (47 U.S.C. § 230), Kovafin is not the publisher or speaker of user-generated content and shall not be treated as such. We reserve the right, but are not obligated, to monitor, edit, or remove content that violates these Terms.
10. Intellectual Property
Kovafin owns all rights to the Platform, including its design, code, branding, and features. Users retain ownership of the content they create (job postings, applications, profiles). By posting content on Kovafin, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to display, distribute, and make it available on the Platform as needed to provide the service.
11. Subscriptions and Payment
Certain features of the Platform require a paid subscription. Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly or annual basis. Candidates are never charged to use Kovafin.
- Prices are listed on our Pricing page and may change with 30 days’ notice.
- You may cancel your subscription at any time. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.
- Refunds are handled on a case-by-case basis. Contact support for assistance.
12. Communications and CAN-SPAM
By creating an account, you consent to receive transactional emails related to your account activity (application updates, security alerts, verification). You may also opt in to promotional communications such as job alerts.
All marketing emails include an unsubscribe mechanism. You can manage your notification preferences from your profile settings at any time. We comply with the CAN-SPAM Act and will honor unsubscribe requests within 10 business days.
13. Termination and Moderation
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. Suspended users may appeal through our appeal process. You may also delete your account at any time from your profile settings.
Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately, though we may retain certain data as required by law or as described in our Privacy Policy.
14. Disclaimers
Kovafin is a platform that connects employers and candidates. We do not guarantee employment, hiring outcomes, or the accuracy of information posted by other users. The Platform is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, either express or implied.
While we encourage and enforce transparency, we cannot verify every detail of every posting. Users should exercise their own judgment. Kovafin does not provide legal, tax, financial, or career advice.
15. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Kovafin and its operators, officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Platform. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid us (if any) in the twelve months preceding the claim.
16. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Texas, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Texas.
17. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will update the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms. For significant changes, we will notify you via email or a prominent notice on the Platform.
